[Far from thinking poorly about Cisco echoing those words, in any way, Eddie just says them again, his voice soft and gentle, repeating them to reinforce them, to help Cisco believe them.]
You're not alone. I'm right here with you, Cisco. And I'm gonna stay with you while you get through this. You won't have to do it alone.
[When Eddie makes his offer, he feels it, the way Cisco's breath stops, the way his arms tighten around Eddie's body, and then he's speaking, his voice catching a bit as he does. All of these things are little tells, communicating how he's affected Cisco, and he decides then that no matter what, he's going to keep gently pushing until Cisco agrees to it, no matter what Cisco says, if he disagrees, if he tries to say he shouldn't. Because no matter what Cisco says, his body gave it away - he wants, subconsciously, to sleep in Eddie's bed with him.]
It's okay, Cisco. I didn't think that just being in the bed with me would make you silent, I just thought...you know, if you weren't alone when you woke up, that would help you get back to sleep again, faster. I don't mind. I don't mind if you wake me up, or scream, or any of the rest of it.
[Licking his lips, he presses his face into Cisco's hair, and closes his eyes, just holding him for a few moments, wrapped tight in his arms.]
I just want to help. To help you feel safe, and like someone's got your back.
