My thoughts are pretty much... I'd like it to hold books! [ Cisco laughs, waving Magnus over as he heads back into the apartment, towards the stairs up to his room. ] Naw, just kidding, lemme show you the spot where I'm thinking you could put it.
[ Cisco's room is on the second floor, in what is, technically speaking, the attic. When Eddie had said he could stay in the attic, Cisco had been picturing something low-ceilinged, unfinished, dusty and dim. But it's actually a cute space, much bigger than he feels like he needs. There's a bed and desk, and a long couch, but no shelves to speak of. Cisco motions with his hand, indicating an arc along the blank wall and saying. ]
So I was actually hoping maybe shelves from the floor to ceiling here, and then just a couple of high ones across, and then coming back down to the desk over here? That should be plenty, even for my nerdy needs.
[ That's it. He's doing good. Just keep talking about bookshelves. Definitely don't blurt anything about- ]
You're talking about Taako and them, right? I... didn't wanna make it weird, but now I've gotten to the point where I feel like not mentioning he and I are friends would be even weirder. He and I aren't from the same world or anything, and uh- you and me have never met before. But even though I know it's not my business... I trust Taako. Just... for what it's worth. And I. Don't... trust people. Much.
[ Well this went from zero to awkward real quick. Good job, Cisco. ]
