"You're quiet tonight." Jace commented, having found Max staking claim to one of the bedrooms.

They hadn't really had a lot of time since the parade, partly his fault. Things had been a little...strange...for him lately. But that meant he had to make more of an effort because things being difficult wasn't an excuse.
