"Alec." Now wasn't the time to have this conversation. He'd said a lot when he and Alec had coffee and he'd turned into a broken mess Alec had to take care of. This was suppose to be a celebration. They had a new place to live where they could all be together and he was going to make sure Alec felt supported in his decision.

So the words died on his tongue and he pulled Alec into a tight hug. He'd promised he would fix things, make right what he'd messed up. He felt like he was failing. But every time he got too close or was too far away things became confusing and complicated.
