Kate laughed and shook her head. "No. He was a very good cop. He protected me more times than I can count." Even after he had tried to kill both Richie and Seth, Kate had found it easy to trust Eddie. Not because he was right but because she understood where he was coming from and what he was really trying to do. He wanted to keep innocent people safe.

It wasn't a hard walk though Kate's eyes continued to look around them as they made their way to her home. Learning about the creatures that went bump in the night made her more cautious come sunset.

"Lux. It's a bar owned by Lucifer." Which was why she was walking home so late. "I don't drink a lot or anything like that but I like working there." It reminds her of Mexico which was both terrifying and comforting at the same time. At least she knew that her boss had the power to stop vampires from eating the populace of the bar and Lucifer would probably agree that it was bad for business.
