Ed is taking note of her movements, the way she's listening as she looked back to the sky. He'd gotten used to reading people more on other worlds and although he didn't always bother if the situation was quiet enough it became habit. "Ninjas are better." He reassured with a laugh, placating if nothing else.

At the last part though he paused, as if clearly surprised that Al had even bothered. "I'm not sure he can, in other places I've been it wasn't possible to learn what wasn't native to your world..." Still, it was an interesting thought, and that made him curious.
