Ivar's not wrong, and the urge again is to walk away now that they're edging towards subjects to do with him. But he doesn't, because Ivar deserves a little more respect than that after being big enough to admit his mistakes and apologise for them, that's not something Bucky was expecting but it's a pleasant surprise.

"I saw what you did on the network," he says, a way to stall for time and because it's not a lie, he stalks most public things on there even if he doesn't respond. "It's a good start, but that's all it is, a start."

He pauses as if he's not going to address the other point, but eventually he shrugs awkwardly. "There are some things better kept at arm's length, I'm one of them."
