I'm working on power dampeners. In case somebody with superpowers decides to rob the bank or whatever and gets arrested, gotta be a way to keep them from using their abilities to escape lockup or whatever. Obviously... got a long ways to go.

[ There's clear frustration in his voice as he says it: it had been easier back home, but he doesn't have the same resources here that he did, there. He has had to scrounge for parts, to re-work his designs to accommodate different materials, powers that work in different ways than he's used to.
