[ Morning comes, but it's still too early for the sun to peak out over the horizon of the moon they're on by the time Gladio rouses sluggishly from sleep. His eyes feel heavy, stuck together with lack of hydration, his mouth feels dry and his head distantly hurts somewhere behind his eyes. In terms of hangovers, this is pretty mild. His stomach feels a little sour, but nothing he can't handle. He's just not ready to get out of bed, or swing his legs over it as he usually does. So he'll just stay here where he's warm a little longer...

His lips brush against soft, pale skin. They instinctively kiss it, attracted to the smoothness. There's something soft near his face, cool and fragrant with some familiar shampoo. He noses into it, murmuring a quiet sound as he moves against that warm body next to his and --

Amber eyes fly open, his shoulder tensing as he rises up on one elbow and stares at the figure he's spooning. ]

...Nn--!

[ Wakefulness suddenly grips him, his brain catching up and starting the slow process of reconciling the memories from last night as not some dirty dream. Dawning realization of who and what he did last night makes him swipe a palm over his eyes, his smile embarrassed and amused at once.

Okay. It's... still really, ridiculously early. The sun isn't even up yet, but there's enough of that grey, pre-dawn light to let him see Eichi's sleeping face. The fingers interlaced with his. Their legs tangled up and the very obvious nakedness beneath the sheets. Should he wake him? Should he gather up his clothes and sneak into his apartment? Should he just feign one of his excursions out past the perimeter as an excuse for his absence?

This is too much to consider right away, so Gladio falls back against the pillow and stares at the ceiling, props his head up behind him with his arm. His fingers flex between Eichi's fingers, his arm still around his sleeping body and holding his hand, hoping that is enough to gently wake him. ]
