She would be angry, annoyed that he'd so abruptly shut down her question, but that fleeting look of his gives her a pause. She's not sure she'd really seen it, and being new to human facial expressions in general doesn't make it any easier. It just leaves her puzzled, trying to suss out a puzzle without nearly enough of the pieces.
