For half of his life, he was with Alice. Being ordered around by her, being with her family who basically became his family, and having cooking competitions with her on the daily. That was his routine for a long time.
So this new... everything, was weird.
It could be worse. Ryou absolutely knows this. There was a point in his life where he worried about whether or not he'd still have a place to live, and he's got that here. When he enters his new home, he looks around, noticing that there must another person already living here. Maybe that was better than having to do this alone.
He had some concerns about certain parts of his routine that were important for keeping his skills sharp, but he'd have to worry about that later.]
