i. gift fountain

[Of all the things she'd ever thought could happen, being kidnapped and taken to some strange city with holidays devoted to friendship and gift-giving was not one of them. She still felt that tight coil of anxiety in the pit of her stomach urging her to get away, to fight, to find the nearest exit and get the hell out of there and back to her daughter as soon as humanly possible. But that didn't appear to be in the cards right now. No. She had to bide her time, figure out a game plan...

So for now, Chloe Decker tried to ignore the tumultuous thoughts and feelings swirling around inside her as she watched the festivities. People excitedly crowded around the large, brightly lit fountain, fishing various packages out of the water before gleefully running off with them. Frowning, she drew closer, curious despite herself.

One of the packages drifted slowly towards her, and she leaned in to see the small scrawl of her name there before scooping it up. Upon opening it, she felt her heart lurch -- inside was a small gold locket opened up to a picture of her daughter, Trixie. Hand shaking slightly, she lifted up the fragile little trinket by the chain, lips pursed as she tried not to let her eyes mist over.]

iii. club exhibition

[Even she had to admit that all the ruckus and animated chatter of the city had her curiosity piqued. She wandered aimlessly through the city until she came across the many booths set up in the Town Square, eyes drifting back and forth between all the colorful displays trying to invite her in.

She kept her distance for now, content to eye everything while giving the booth owners polite smiles as she declined their invitations to come talk about their clubs. She did a quick double-take over at one of the banner's that proudly read 'Satan Fanatics Welcome,' head craning over— which had her plowing right into someone.

— sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going.

v. wildcard

[Chloe's currently in communal housing; floor 6, bed 3, if anyone'd like to run into her. I'm completely open to other ideas too! Feel free to shoot me a PM or ping me at [plurk.com profile] ivorygraves if you'd like to set something specific up.]
