[ Without context, the answer is yes. Loki knows how he appears, how much effort he puts into looking the part even if he cares so little of what others might say. It is a game but it is also Loki's very being, another strange facet of behavior he can't quite let go of.

The bar rises and falls depending on the situation. Having a backup in case of emergency is never a bad thing.
