Hawke's been on the look out for Laura since she saw the video. An angry, homicidal girl likely wouldn't be too hard to find. Or the trail of destruction she leaves in her wake won't be, at any rate. As Hawke turns down a street corner, she sees the lot of them running her way.
"Dude, don't go this way! There's this girl, and she has claws and there was this guy-"
That's all she needed to hear. Hawke tells them to keep running and, against their advice, heads in that very direction.
It doesn't take long before she comes upon Kirk and Laura. Before she even has a chance to shout, Laura maneuvers at a speed almost breath-taking. Even Hawke barely realizes what's happening until she sees the claws coming out of the man's back. As someone who had been impaled herself once upon a time, she knows how much it sucks. And how deadly it is.
She sprints towards them, not even bothering to take out her staff. She pulls her arm back, hand balled into a fist and calls on a spell. As much as she hates to do this, she has no choice. Throwing her arm forward like one would with a punch, she sends a Stone Fist hurtling at Laura. She hopes it'll at least knock her down long enough for Hawke to plant herself in between Kirk and her.]
