He fumbles with a long string in his side-pocket, which reveals two jingling keys, one of which he uses to unlock the apartment and push the door open with a foot, while he remains in zen-like balance as a crutch. Inside is pretty empty for the moment; other than the built-in stuff, there's just a busted up couch they left for him to keep and a mattress with some spare blankets piled on. Oh, and the 'Hang in there!' kitty poster that someone left, too. Why would you abandon such a thing? Terrible, really.
