"Is that what it is?" He gave Jim a feigned look of surprise then laughed. "Yeah, Jim... you're damn near irresistible." Oh, completely, not just near. Jim drew him in like a moth to the flame. Which was also why it was so easy for the man to get him to smile.

"But that, darlin' is a lie. I am the worst at singin'." Well, not the worst. But he sure as hell knew it wasn't anywhere near impressive. "You're the one with the voice." And god, he may have never complimented Jim on it before, but he loved the moments Jim would start singing for whatever reason.

"You know, speakin' of," may as well make up for that lack of complimenting. "You make me crazy with that voice of yours." Oh, he was likely going to pay for owning up to that.
