"Well... it's sort of an acquired taste," Jim shrugged at that. It wasn't a lie, not really. A lot of times Jim just got used to hearing Bones grouse about stuff, and sometimes he even found it kind of cute. And now he had plenty of ways to shut him up pretty effectively, so.
"You make it sound so bad. You could get plenty out of me too, if you wanted to," he pointed out, raising a brow as Bones seemed to be deep in thought. His expression opened up in surprise as soon as Bones started reciting that sonnet, lips stretching to a small smile, then finally a grin as he chuckled at his last few words.
"It is the star to every wandering bark, whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken," he started slowly, picking up where Bones had left off with relative ease. "Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks within his bending sickle’s compass come; love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of doom."
Curling his arms around Bones's neck, he stepped closer and kissed him, soft and lingering. "You are a damn gooey romantic."
