Jim could almost hear Bones's thoughts just then, and while he didn't say the words out loud, Jim's mind easily filled in the blanks on his own. To say it was silly was putting it mildly, even taking into consideration how insecure Bones could be when it came to things like this, but Jim couldn't really take it to heart. He just let out a sigh and rolled his eyes a hint, lips curving into something closer to a smile.

"You're very silly sometimes, Bones," he said with all the fondness in the world, huffing a chuckle at Bones's question. "Thought we were doing all those things already," he hummed, though he knew what Bones meant. They could still very well be doing that and just keeping a strict 'friends with benefits' policy. But no, that hadn't been what Jim had had in mind, and he figured Bones wanted more than that too, himself.

Unwinding his arms from around Bones, he slid his hands up his front and tugged lightly at his shirt collar. "But yeah, I'd like that. Assuming you want that too."
