The stint of curiosity finally ended, he moved back in his chair to look at the little dessert tarts with a smile. Whether or not Jim actually made it was beside the point. It still made him smile and send Jim a warm amused look. "Did you now? Looks like you can add culinary chef to your list of titles, dalrin', cause that mint leaf just does it up right pretty."
Well, it did. But he was more teasing than anything else. "Not to mention all the health benefits of mint leaves." Nevermind they topped likely pure sugar and the like. Not that he minded. He could really enjoy pastries thanks to his ma's cooking. Taking the fork and the knife, he set then down before catching Jim's arm to pull him down so he could kiss him.
Granted, he was careful of not making Jim drop his own plate, but right then, he just really wanted to touch him. And that lingering kiss was just not quite enough. "So..." Tipping his head, he brushed their lips softly before finishing that statement. "Would I be a horrible person if I robbed you of that plate and dragged you into my lap? I don't see a label that says you have to be in you own chair to eat it."
He actually sort of expected Jim to say no. It was pretty forward for him... but really. Jim being on the other side of the table felt a little like a tragedy to him at the moment.
