A soft shiver rolled up his spine at the feeling of those fingers against his palm mixed into those words. Lips parted to inhale softly before he ducked his head and smile. "Say things like that too often I might end up a nice permanent shade of red." Well, don't really stop, Jim. He kinda liked that feeling that came with words like that from Jim.

Something he certainly wasn't used to, but damn it, he liked it. Smiling a little more, he felt almost foolish with how much he was smilin' and couldn't even stop. Hazel eyes finally managed to flick up and look at Jim's face and pay no attention to the fact his cheeks felt hot. Especially when he bout shivered outright when Jim kissed his knuckles. "You make me crazy... in a good way."

Letting the fingers slip from his hand, he couldn't help but sigh at the loss of contact. "My big strong captain. Can fight a Romulan hand to hand but wave a hypospray at him and he runs away." Arching a brow, his eyes lit up with amusement. "Of all the people I have treated and dealt with that are afraid of hyposprays, you're the only one I put the effort into runnin' after. Guess it was kinda cute." Definitely made him feel far younger than he was chasing Jim around the Enterprise in a strange form of tag.
