"I'll do my best." Snorting softly, he didn't even take that remotely seriously. He did smile brilliantly, however, when Jim said that last part. "You succeeded in hittin' the mark then." Granted, he still gave Jim an arched brow the moment he dropped that confounded apron around his neck. Rolling his eyes, he went back to moving things around so he could start on the next item of business.
"You know, if I didn't still smell like the hospital, I'd protest this brightly colored monstrosity." He didn't think it was that bad. But it was pretty bright and obnoxious. And only Jim of all people would buy it. He just wasn't sure if he got it for the shock value or cause he actually honest to god liked the thing.
He started to ask what view, but then he felt that hand on his ass and he couldn't help the very small jump in reaction. "Well, I don't know how you're lookin' at my ass while leanin' over my shoulder, but I call that some fancy multi-taskin' sweetheart."
Pausing as Jim moved away, he arched a brow before starting up the gravy at the stove. "You know, I'm not against you hovering. Kinda likin' you close like that if you want."
