Maddie Franks and all the others, every single person who had died while they were looking into the black tapes had been because of their own choices. Some would have looked for clues to try to save the life that they thought they had forfeited, some would have continued ruining the lives of children by causing panic in their parents. No matter the words these figments were stating, Alex had certainly caused more help than harm.

Besides, she had helped him learn the truth about Coralee and be able to tell Charlie what had happened to her mother. It was something he would always be thankful for.
