["Scare" is a broad opening for action and Dante is unfortunately the type to skip straight to twelve when it comes to responses. Luckily, he has good enough aim to specifically only scare the monster under the boat and manages to avoid getting Toothless, although he certainly doesn't give off the impression of paying attention. He watches the two wrestle when they leave the water, leaning back so he can take in the scale of the fight.
