Alex just nodded along as the other woman explained. If nothing else, Alex got the gist of it. Working for a small public radio station that somehow suddenly makes it big has given her a bit of insight on how you need to cultivate and grow small things into larger ones. It makes sense that Mikumo needed to do something similar in a new place.
