He didn't need to tell her how close she'd gotten. She'd seen it a hundred percent in his face after she'd told him that he'd not seen everything yet. She'd seen it, and then when he retreated, she hadn't pressed any more because she didn't want him to regret the first time that he'd kissed her. Even if she really and honestly wanted to kiss him for damned near a month before she'd gotten her memory back. But he was more important than a kiss, and if he ever brought it up, she'd tell him that.
