He was quiet for a few moments as he mulled over what she'd said. He'd assumed that, if it had come up, there had been more to it. Alex had a self-proclaimed, big mouth, after all. But it hadn't, which meant that, to an extent, he'd told Jeff something that wasn't at all something the other man would know. That was, irritating. Jeff didn't need to know about any of it, and yet, now he did.
