I'm afraid I can't speak as one of them.
[Even if it is for only five more minutes when she returns, she will return alive. What her fate is, Padmé can't say. Those from the future know of her, and obviously she isn't still alive. Age takes its toll, she assumes, and war brings many casualties.]
Though I can say that some of those who have nothing to return to where they come from do seem to be making the most of their lives here.
