Yeah, Pikachu is like the most iconic pokemon in the game, I think, and so he's really, really rare. I've never actually even seen one when I was playing back home. But then again, the city I lived in was really populated with people who were playing, and I didn't get a lot of chances to just run around and do some battling and pokemon chasing.
