I think it's pulled honestly. It would make the most sense with the portal, and the way everything was when we last were there. I know back home I'm originally from two months before Richard was, and yet I was still there and still doing things and still being me, so I'm guessing that it just pulls them out at the exact moment and then puts them back when you go?
