[Alex let out a small huff, because she knew she was being annoying, she just couldn't help it. This wasn't her, and all of the effort of trying had been used up in the first day that she was awake. After all, Alex was used to going to far and doing too much and stretching herself as thin as she could until she was almost see through. The problem with living with Richard is that he didn't let her do that.
And Alex didn't know how to not.
Sitting back, Alex wrapped her arms over the top of the blanket and huffed again, shifting and trying to get comfortable, both inside of her body and with her body. Being honest she shook her head.]
I don't think I could focus on reading right now, as enthralling as your voice is, Richard. I need something more active. Even if it's just with my brain.
