(Hmm... none of this makes sense?

Lucretia opens her mouth to say so but the Tetherer continues on, babbling a little in their nervousness. She waits patiently for a moment to speak, and the moment it comes, she says:)

I'm sorry, but I uh... I don't think that I know who Ripley is? Are you rooming together?

(Why is the Tetherer asking if she approves or somebody else or not anyway?) I'm afraid I don't understand.
