[Honestly, there wasn’t all that much for Alex to investigate. Or at least there hadn’t been much. At current, she was working on trying to track down who it was that had ended up releasing the plague that had swept through the city, or at the very least trying to figure out the where it had been launched piece. But before that there had only been little things that were mostly reports on the things that were happening with the government and the like. Nothing like what she was used to doing at home, which of course meant that Alex had been using her free time (and work time) in a way that she would deem wisely: she was using the vast knowledge of people around town in order to find things that could be better put to use back home.

Not that she was going to tell most people about that. But Alex could already tell that Skye wasn’t most people.

Her attention laser focused for a moment on the fact that the other woman admitted so easily that she was a hacker. Alex herself didn’t have a hacker on staff (or at least on the payroll using bitcoin) but her best friend Nic did, and she knew how useful knowing one could be. When Skye handed her the business card, it was easy for Alex to type the woman’s number directly in her phone before she slipped one of her own from her holder and did the same, handing it to the other woman.]

I definitely will probably have use for your skills at some point. And if nothing else, have you spoken to Tony Stark? The older one. He’s the one you want to speak to about tech here, I think. Maybe he could be a good network to have.
