That comment gave him even more reason not to get involved in this place. If things were going to alter them, possibly fundamentally, then he wanted nothing to do with it. Even more so if this whole thing was in his and Alex's heads. He didn't know how exactly this worked, and if Warren were monitoring it somehow and he let something slip, the consequences could be catastrophic. Not that he believed any of the nonsense that they'd been dealing with, but Warren and his cult did, and that was enough to worry about.
