Home. It was such an abstract concept to Minsu when they first met, a word that humans used to describe something that he didn't understand. Maybe, if he'd had more memories of being a fox and the mountains, and trees where he came from, maybe then he would have. Instead it was Sage who taught him the true meaning of the word. Maybe they were a little strange to everyone else - they were both boys, they stood out for reasons that too many people around them deemed "wrong". Minsu didn't care about any of that. They had each other and a home between them.
"Better?" Minsu smiles a little at his sigh, both hands lifting to wave off the apology. He's done nothing to have to apologize for. But Sage might be pleased to know that he's not the only one who keeps getting caught by surprise. It happens to Minsu too, in the little words and gestures that show consideration towards him - like an offered ice cream.
"O..oh." He stammers for a moment, apparently forgetting the vast majority of the English language. So Minsu can only nod before dipping his head in for a taste, tongue sweeping across the ice cream before he stands up straight again. He's blushing. They're both blushing, and suddenly everything feels perfect. Minsu has a lot of good memories with Sage, but this is the first time that they've shared an ice cream on this foreign moon. It's meaningful in and of itself, whether Sage remembers him or not.
"I think I see our tree."
Minsu smiles and points to one that's a little apart from the others, a little smaller but with flowers that are just as pretty.

"Ah, I'm really hungry now."
