She mentions electrocution and he frowns, instantly on edge because that means she has some sort of weapon in her that could knock him out if she wanted to. Which means she doesn’t want to, because she wants to draw this out. He wonders if it’s because of the firefly bite, a way to make sure she doesn’t say more than what she wants to say. Or the same reason he’s fighting: simply because it makes him feel good.

But the pain does make him take a step back, which should be enough for her to get out of his grip.
