I've sold a lot of tables.

[Like the one the weapon's rack is on. He's the son, and grandson of a carpenter. He learned the trade before he could walk, and for all that he's now a formidable pirate, he has a keen love of working with his hands in ways that don't involve bloodshed and terror.]

I limited myself to what I know how to use and am confident in teaching. The blind leading the blind would do no one any good. But the study of stars is somewhat necessary to a sailor in my age.

[It's not quite that sort of star chart, more navigational function than esoteric form.]
