[The mattress creaks under Leonard's weight as he takes a seat on the edge of the bed, one bandy leg crossed over the other. If Kylo wants to get into a staring contest, Leonard's got all day and no small amount of patience. Leonard was younger than Kylo when he was raising a teen girl. An overgrown goth with an attitude problem ain't shit.

He sighs, dramatically, because he does everything dramatically, humming as he seemingly ponders the answer to Kylo's question, and taking his time doing it.

The emptied glass is exchanged for a handful of colourful pills. Medicine to kill the pain, reduce inflammation, and prevent infection. Turns out dirty alleys and open wounds aren't a great mix. Who would've thought?]

Now, you can take your meds like a good boy, or I can pinch your nose and cram them down your throat like a veterinarian. It's up to you. Don't think I won't check under your tongue, either.
