But his training tells him to use that hurt, and the anger it brings, and he swings a more practiced punch at Poe's head this time, forceful and purposeful, where his last one had been an adolescent's flailing.
He doesn't care about the lost comrades haunting Poe Dameron. They were Rebel scum, anyway. Fanatics and would-be revolutionaries who got what they deserved. He'll kill them all one day. None of them are worth mercy.

[ His villain monologue is cut short by another hail of bullets, and though he releases Poe to stop the incoming projectiles, one bullet slips through, hitting him just above the hip. With the sharp cry of a rabid animal-- wounded, but still eager to fight-- he staggers back from Poe, looking down at the blood seeping into black material.
