In other news: holy shit? Finn has to take a second to just kind of... admire this. He can't not. That absolutely counts as torching someone. And he doesn't know anything about levels or spells or wizards or anything, really, but he knows a huge deal when he watches it.
Phasma remains, in some corners of his mind, an untouchable figure-- always composed, always in control, something to answer to, something to fear, something infallible and not human. He's known her his whole life, more or less, and she cultivates her image exactly as she likes it. Part of him still says, she's absolutely not dead even after that. She'll always be back there following him.
But it's worth watching fire completely decimate this stretch of corridor and picturing it. The thing is, it helps. The tightness in his chest eases, even if just a little. In spite of everything, Finn's face splits into a momentary grin. ]
