Leia was silent as Rey laid out her plan, and then as the two men questioned her for doing it. And then when she spoke it was softly, but it was in a way that cut across argument. If nothing else, Leia Organa was very good at doing it with Poe. She crossed her arms in front of her, looking very much herself even with the glitter that still dusted her cheek and hands.


"Because if she doesn't consider it, then he's definitely going to keep coming after Poe. And Rey and everyone else." It's clear that Leia has been doing a fair amount of thinking about all of this. "Ren is conflicted, I can feel it as well. He's struggling and he's without guidance here. He's not going to listen to me, but I believe that he will listen to Rey. And Rey is an intelligent woman and she's not going to be easily swayed to the Dark side. More than that, if he does try something, I'll know it. Rey needs to be trained, and we need a way to try and connect with Ren. If we can do that here, then there's every possibility that when we return we might be able to prevent..."

She doesn't say what they may prevent, but it's clear that it's more than just him attacking Poe and trying to lure Rey away.

"But I will make certain that he doesn't use any dark side tricks on her. We aren't going to lose her." Too. They weren't going to lose her too, but Leia didn't want to say it.
