Over the months he'd been a resident of the Quarantine, he'd slowly grown accustomed to the idea of staying. At first, it had bothered him, but he knew one day they'd return if they wanted to, and he also knew, now more than ever, they wouldn't be missed. He hadn't missed her, and she was from two years in his past. Yet, he remembered every moment they'd spent together. That meant something. Maybe he'd ramble it out at some point.
