[ Cisco appreciates the lack of immediate questioning. He knows that it's going to have to come, eventually, but in the meantime he's more than happy to talk about other matters. When Genji offers to cook, Cisco says: ]

Or he could bring something cooked, if they end up needing a second meeting, or session, or whatever the word ought to be. He might not have a lot of aspects of his life together, but he could do that, at least.
While Genji is starting the water going and prepping the food, Cisco gets up from the couch, too restless to stay still long, and starts to look at the carefully-tended plants, smiling at them. He says, as he looks at them: ]
I've got a bunch of succulents back at my place. Like... way too many of 'em, actually. I love them, and they're pretty hard to kill, so I figure even I can't mess 'em up too bad. Plus they're non-toxic, which is good because our cat has some issues with understanding that plants are friends and not food.
[ They're frivolous words, light, just taking up space in what otherwise might be an awkward silence. Cisco's always been a bit of a rambler, when he's not exactly at his ease. ]
