[ Cisco, for his part, doesn't seem to mind the curiosity one bit. He loves his work, and loves that he can actually talk about it here. It had all been strictly secret, back in Central City, but he'd decided long ago that there wasn't any point to keeping it secret, here. They're on a moon somewhere in the cosmos in another version of reality: he's pretty sure that even if he made an announcement proclaiming Barry's identity to everybody here, there wouldn't be any consequences back home. ]
I mean - a mechanical engineer, technically, but... yeah, I am. And I did some other stuff, too. Like design the suits, give all the villains their catchy nicknames. You know in movies, where there's somebody out in the field, and somebody back in the van or base or whatever, talking 'em through it over comms? I'm the guy in the base.
[ It had been a little more complicated than that, in real life. Cisco ended up in danger sometimes - found himself in the thick of things, having to act himself rather than direct Barry how to save the day. But he neglects to mention those instances, because that would make him sound too much like a hero, himself - and he's definitely not that. ]
So... no superheroes, and I'm assuming, no metahumans either?
