[Alex's eyes are practically shining at that. Of course that's exactly what Alex would do here. After all, she was persistent as hell, and asking questions and getting answers was her profession both here and at home. If magic was real, then well she was going to learn everything about it, if only to annoy Strand if he ever showed up. And then she pushed that thought away before she gave him a smile and focused on the relief she felt when he said there was no demons here.
If she was honest with herself (and Alex did try to be when she could be) she was worried about demons here. Of course, she was worried about demons everywhere, because it was hard not to be, even when one had the stoic voice of Richard Strand reminding her that they weren't real.
So, she just nods, and her smile grows a little lighter:]
