The latter half of the statement is flat, her gaze entirely resolute, determined to emphasize her meaning: if slavery exists anywhere, she intends to stamp its wretched presence out. Though exploration, an inclination toward wanderlust, toward her eternal, fruitless search to find somewhere to call home might tug at her elsewise, she must first and always be concerned with the plight of others.

Or she risks becoming a monstrosity like her father.

"A pleasure, Rey." Her head tilts, and a shadow of a smile forms upon her face. "You have the proud bearing of a lady all the same."

There's no need to mention anything else; what they speak of now is fascinating business as it is.
