[ Well, it does have the effect of shutting him down... In that Chase doesn't really know how to react, because the "UNFORTUNATE" admission of his attractiveness makes stupid butterflies flutter in his stupid stomach, even though he's sure Caleb's just bullshitting for the sake of unfriendly banter.

So he just, uh, laughs? HAHA WHAT A JOKE. Except there's a strain of awkwardness running through it. It's like a HAHAHA... HA??? situation. ]
