It's part of any standard First Order education, which doesn't frame any rebels in a positive light and starts to lean specifically towards battle formations and successful strategies, but it's an education nonetheless. Finn knows the name Obi Wan Kenobi because it's theoretically impossible not to hear a name like that, same as it would be impossible not to hear the name Luke Skywalker, and he knows the rough span of years framing the Rebellion days. There's not being able to remember a few days that Rey remembers because of being unconscious, and then there's people supposedly turning up from the actual past.
He doesn't know the other two names. With the bigger or unavoidable ones put aside, there's not much room for learning to think of rebels as people with lives. ]
