treat me [OPEN]

who: Sombra & YOU
what: It's Halloween, and Sombra is knocking on everyone's door for goodies. Will you treat her?
when: October 31
where: Everywhere
warnings: N/A, will update if needed

Holidays in general are a great source of amusement, and honestly says a lot about a person depending on how they interact with it. To her, this is a pretty good opportunity, as well as plenty of fun to be had. Besides,
Día de Muertos is a slight bit of a more personal affair for her and not exactly an occasion she's going to share with anyone here.

Not that she expects anyone to really know it.

As it stands, Sombra has her costume prepared. She was lucky enough that since Widowmaker's departure, there was a spare suit left behind. Getting it fitted was no problem, and Sombra feels fairly comfortable in it, though it's not exactly to her style. To top it off, cradled in her arm is a baguette, kind of.

So whether Sombra is knocking on your door, has conveniently draped herself across your couch, or simply has popped into the same room as you, she gives a sharp smile and says:

"Dulce o travesura."

Then holds out a candy bucket that's shaped like Reaper's mask.

Frank lived in Hell's Kitchen. He's heard his share of Spanish. And even if he didn't, the costume (uh, a bit airy in the chest area) and the bucket kind of give it away. There's only one problem.

"I don't have any candy."

Halloween wasn't as big a thing in France as it was in say, America, but Marinette still knew about the tradition. Still she's surprised to see Sombra come trick-or-treating. She didn't think it was a thing adults still did..! "Oh! Uh... just a second. Actually, come on in~" She figured the rest of her floor mates were out and about, but she had made some treats in case they wanted some for the holiday.

In any case she trotted on over to the counter where there was a bag of snacks, and a few neatly wrapped bags of baked treats. Something similar to Rice Krispie treats, peanut cluster cookies and regular chocolate chip and sugar cookies. All in traditional shapes of course.

Luckily for Sombra this encounter is happening before Lucretia's due to re-cast the wards over her apartment. When she answers the door she's expecting a friend, perhaps her girlfriend; she simply stares at the costumed figure on the other end. In this strange situation, Lucretia really has hit the jackpot: she doesn't understand which language Sombra is speaking in, and has never hailed from anywhere that celebrates anything remotely close to Halloween.

"I don't understand," she confesses, eyes darting from the costume, to the bucket, to the smile on the stranger's face, unsure of where she's supposed to look. Wait are they holding bread? What is going on, help.

"..........."

Laura stares at her for a long moment where she's answered her door. Without saying a word, she turns away and vanishes, the door left cracked, and when she returns, she drops an unopened bag of suckers into the candy bucket; it pretty much fills the whole thing up in one go.

"Aquí tienes."

What? She likes Halloween. She's not sure what the exact way to distribute candy is, but she can roll with it.

She continues in Spanish, expression rather stoic for a child her age on such a holiday:

".... What are you?"

"Not for Halloween on the moon, no." Come on. Who would?

He cocks an eye at the bread/gun/thing. Not just because it's weird, but because it might be real. Frank prefers to be the one with the guns. "I don't do cookies." Does he look like the type who does much in the way of fun/entertaining? No. He does not.

"Yeah, I like to stay in practice." She grins, nodding at the baguette gun, "That looks like something my parents would bake for me, if I went out and about in a costume like yours. Who did you get to make it for you?" She'd have to check out the bakery that did it, as she carefully starts plucking treats off the tray and wrapping them up, to add them to a trick or treat bag.

The world's deadliest sniper, is it? She looks at her like someone judging a talent show. Very serious, but also interested, eyes rounded and thoughtful. "... It would be good with cheese. The bread." Because obviously, that's the end result you'd expect from her studying -- that Sombra is severely wasting her baguette. "Why didn't you buy a toy gun?"

Lucretia has a quick glance into the bucket to see if there's anything in it, but it is quite empty.

"Uh, okay." A holiday specific to Quarantine she knows nothing about? She pulls her phone out to make a quick note of this so she can read about it later. "I don't think I have any candy but I might have– hold on."

She ducks back into her apartment, and comes back moments later with a container, which she pries open to offer Sombra: it's full of brownies. "Will this suffice?"
