treat me [OPEN]
who: Sombra & YOU
what: It's Halloween, and Sombra is knocking on everyone's door for goodies. Will you treat her?
when: October 31
where: Everywhere
warnings: N/A, will update if needed
Holidays in general are a great source of amusement, and honestly says a lot about a person depending on how they interact with it. To her, this is a pretty good opportunity, as well as plenty of fun to be had. Besides,
Día de Muertos is a slight bit of a more personal affair for her and not exactly an occasion she's going to share with anyone here.
Not that she expects anyone to really know it.
As it stands, Sombra has her costume prepared. She was lucky enough that since Widowmaker's departure, there was a spare suit left behind. Getting it fitted was no problem, and Sombra feels fairly comfortable in it, though it's not exactly to her style. To top it off, cradled in her arm is a baguette, kind of.
So whether Sombra is knocking on your door, has conveniently draped herself across your couch, or simply has popped into the same room as you, she gives a sharp smile and says:
"Dulce o travesura."
Then holds out a candy bucket that's shaped like Reaper's mask.

"I don't have any candy."

In any case she trotted on over to the counter where there was a bag of snacks, and a few neatly wrapped bags of baked treats. Something similar to Rice Krispie treats, peanut cluster cookies and regular chocolate chip and sugar cookies. All in traditional shapes of course.

"I don't understand," she confesses, eyes darting from the costume, to the bucket, to the smile on the stranger's face, unsure of where she's supposed to look. Wait are they holding bread? What is going on, help.

Laura stares at her for a long moment where she's answered her door. Without saying a word, she turns away and vanishes, the door left cracked, and when she returns, she drops an unopened bag of suckers into the candy bucket; it pretty much fills the whole thing up in one go.
"Aquí tienes."
What? She likes Halloween. She's not sure what the exact way to distribute candy is, but she can roll with it.
She continues in Spanish, expression rather stoic for a child her age on such a holiday:
".... What are you?"

Sombra idly spins her horrible bread gun as she thinks.
"At least you don't have a handful of erasers or something. What about a cookie? I can live with that."
no subject
At the invitation, Sombra helps herself inside, leaning her baguette gun against her shoulder. The treats? Look real good.
"You make those yourself?"

"It's Halloween. I need candy. Or something. You don't have anything?"

Instead of asking the questions on her mind, Sombra performs a dramatic pose, putting on such a theatrically grim face as she holds up her bread gun. As the girl speaks in Spanish just fine, Sombra will continue in the same.
"I am the world's deadliest sniper." A pause. "Who is also French." She gestures to the baguette rifle, as if that explains everything.

He cocks an eye at the bread/gun/thing. Not just because it's weird, but because it might be real. Frank prefers to be the one with the guns. "I don't do cookies." Does he look like the type who does much in the way of fun/entertaining? No. He does not.

"Uh, okay." A holiday specific to Quarantine she knows nothing about? She pulls her phone out to make a quick note of this so she can read about it later. "I don't think I have any candy but I might have– hold on."
She ducks back into her apartment, and comes back moments later with a container, which she pries open to offer Sombra: it's full of brownies. "Will this suffice?"
